My Lord is hard to see

My Lord is hard to see as the changeless one
My Lord is easy to see as the changeless one
(Thiruvaimozhi 1.3, of Nammalvar)
Is it very difficult to attain Krishna? Certainly! Krishna is the Supreme Lord of all that be. Even great demigods find it difficult to approach Him, then what can be said of tiny humans like us. But, there is another happy side to it. Krishna is also very easy to attain.  While those who desire to attain Him, He is very easily accessible. Oh! Just think how wonderful, how merciful, and how much accessible is our Lord. He tries to make Himself accessible at all times and to everyone. And we the sinful people, we do not even try to reciprocate with Him and accepts His invitation. We, out of our own foolishness and self-preoccupation, have made Him difficult to be attained, although He always tries to make Himself easily accessible.
Lord Krishna is so compassionate towards His devotees and so ever eager to award His vision to them, that He not only overlooks all offenses committed by them.  And He is always so eager to award them the fruit of their devotion, but rather continuously searches for an excuse to award them His mercy. Oh! He is bound to us by His grace. He is in us and we are in Him.
My Lord is one who leaves if left, if restrained He stays.
My Lord is hard to reach, my Lord is easy to reach.
Let us sing and praise His infinite glory,
And enjoy His union, ceaselessly, night and day
(Thiruvaimozhi 1.7, of Nammalvar)
