God Can Be Attained Assuredly Today

To attain God is very easy. Nothing is as easy as attaining God. But there should be want of God only and not anything else. As none else is equal to  God. As the Lord is extraordinary, want for Him also should be extraordinary.  Three things are necessary for attaining worldly enjoyments – 1) Want 2) Effort and 3) Destiny.

To get worldly objects, the very first thing necessary is want (i.e. desire) for it.   Then for its acquisition, one needs to make an effort. After making effort,, it will be acquired, only if one is destined to get it. If one is not destined to receive then even on wanting and making the effort, one will not receive it.  That is why if we try for profit, but loss is incurred ! But God is attained only by aspiration and wanting (icchaa). In this, neither effort nor destiny play a role, nor are they required. In this path of divinity there are never any losses, there is gains and only gains (naffaa).

Nothing except God can be attained only by desire. The reason for this is that human body has been availed only to attain Him.   God has bestowed upon us this human body,  only for the purpose of attaining Him.

The second point is that God is Omnipresent (in all places). Not even the space where the sharp tip of a needle can stand is vacant without God. Therefore in attaining God, effort and destiny are of no use at all. By effort only those things are attained that are perishable. The imperishable Paramatma cannot be attained through effort. Realization of Paramatma is only from ardent longing and desire.

God Can Be Attained Assuredly Today

Whether one is a male or a female, an ascetic (saadhu) or a householder (grahasth), literate or illiterate, child or youth, whatever one may be, simply by true and ardent desire he / she  can attain God.   But on condition that except for God, there should not be desire for life or death, no desire for enjoyments or accumulation (hoarding). Things will not perish (nor become inaccessible or nor existent) without desires.  We are to get surely what is destined for us.   No one else can get the thing that is destined for us, – "yadasmadeeyam na hi tatparesam" -  ‘what belongs to us, cannot be for others.’   How can anyone other person suffer from the fever that we have are to suffer ? In the same way, if property is destined for us, we are to surely get it. But there is no destiny, with regards to attainment of God.

God cannot be attained by paying any price for it. Only that thing can be attained by giving a certain price,  that is of lesser value than the listed price.   The things that are available in the market, they do not cost as much as the price they are listed for (sales price). We have assuredly nothing (objects or action) so valuable, by which God can be attained. That God is unique (one without another), eternal, almighty (powerful), everlasting and omnipresent. He is ours and within us  -

Sarvasya chaaham hrdi sannivshth" (Gita 15:15).
"I reside in the hearts of all beings" (Gita 15:15)
"Ishvar sarva bhootaanaam hrdeshe'rjun tisthati." (Gita 18:61).
"O'Arjuna, Ishvar resides in the hearts of all beings."

He is not away from us. If we go into the 8.4 million wombs then too God will dwell in our hearts; and even if we go to heaven or hell. He would dwell in our hearts, even if we become beasts, birds, trees, etc. Even if we become demi-gods (devataas) then too He will reside in our hearts.   And He would do the same, even if we become liberated or become God-realized souls.  That God would dwell in our heart, even if we become the vilest of all sinners, worst of criminals, and most unjust.  Can the attainment of such God dwelling in the hearts of all be difficult?
